Being true to myself means knowing that there is no shame in being quiet, that there is a place for my quiet ways too. It means that I have to be patient with myself when mistakes are made. It means that I am smart--in my own way. It means I am talented according to my own abilities. It means that I need to see my natural beauty, without the aid of full coverage makeup, and be happy with it.

Dear young women trying to be Elsa,
You are beautiful! You don't need to imitate Elsa to be that way! Not everyone has to be a stunning blonde blue eyed beauty to mean something in this world. Everyone was given a gift in this world and many have ones that the rest of us need at some point or another in our lives. Work on those, focus on those, not just your outer beauty, for it is your inner beauty that makes you truly beautiful. Looks are just a shell, nothing else. People who love you see the real you, which is much deeper than that shell. Don't cut yourself short.
For those Disney fans out there who love their princesses: there's nothing wrong in wanting to be a princess. In my mind we're all princesses in our own right; but please remember that in fairy tales, the beauty is reflecting their inner beauty and not just the outward appearance. Look at their good qualities and try to emulate them as well! Some have to work on it more than others, but it is in everyone's reach who works for it. It can be done!!
Please learn to see how beautiful you are in your own right. That is far more important than imitation. The pearl is found inside, not on the shell.
