Ok, I promise I won't bring up that Disney thing again...for now.
I just took up a challenge today that I really excited about, but as usual will probably be very anxious about in the future. There are numerous people in my church that can play the flute and some much better than I. We were practicing songs for Christmas and came across one that required flute accompaniment. The one other lady in the choir that teaches flute took one look at it and said she didn't want to do it because it is so high. I didn't think it was too bad in all standards and told them I'd do it. I took it home and looked at the music. WOW. That thing is high. There was one note in the music that I have never seen in any flute music I have played. Fortunately, I still have resources to remind me how to play that note. So my new challenge for the time being is...learning to play that note as well as the music. Whew.
As scary as trying out new things is to me, I do like a good challenge. Let the challenge begin!!
