Returned

After all of those posts, I took last week off, but even if I had something to say, I wouldn't have been able to, because I was at Disneyland for that trip I booked months ago. It was interesting to have that experience after dealing with all of those difficult memories prior to leaving. Talking about the things I experienced, in addition to having the one-year anniversary of my brother's death made the preparation period quite an emotional one, even to the point of really struggling to get excited about making the trip, but I did it, and I'm back in one piece!

I like to write reports about my visits, and often have something to talk about, but I'm not quite there yet in talking about my experience. I changed things up this time, partly out of necessity to address a few last-minute needs, so I'm not certain if what I have to tell is of any interest to anyone. I also tried to limit my photo taking to my phone so that I didn't have to lug other cameras with me, but since I like to use a higher setting, the photos filled up my storage quickly, and I had to find different places to distribute them and to change to lower settings so I could keep using it. The results are a little bit obvious that the further into the trip I got, the lower the quality of my collection got, but perhaps I can make something out of most of them still.

It was a nice stay, but also nice to come home. My family told me that my absence was felt. That was the best thing that could have been said to me. I sometimes have a mindset that since I tend to stay out of the spotlight I'm not noticed; I always appreciate it when people let me know that this isn't the case.

Thank you.

One photo of my collection.
