Getting Excited--Alone

It's a curse and a blessing at the same time. I get excited over things that it seems no else understands, perhaps because they are simple and all too common to them, but for me, not so much.  Years ago, I had someone comment how amused he was that I always seemed fascinated with watching the popcorn popping in the microwave.  Just last year, I got excited over finding a sidewalk in Disney California Adventure that sparkled.  Recently, I discovered how to turn those Disney pictures from that vacation into an animated appearance.  No one seemed to get it.  No one seemed to understand why I was getting so excited.  Seriously, I wish there was just one person out there who could be at least close to as excited as I was.  It's sometimes a huge let down, but that doesn't stop me from getting excited.

I'm not a Vlogger.  I don't have the gift of gab, and even though cameras don't scare me, I've never been able to prattle on, even if I tried (in fact, I'd be more tongue tied if I tried--it's an introvert thing).  No one watches my slideshows and movies, but I don't really care because I get to do it in my style, which may not be popular, nor as professional, but it's what I enjoy doing.  I post my pictures and other unusual media items on my YouTube channel.  Turning the Disneyland trip photos (along with my story) into animation has been the latest activity.  I've been super excited over creating them and posting them.  After all, I like to write stories, and I like to take pictures, so why not combine them? I've shared them with people over different social media, and it's quite clear I'm the only one getting excited over them, but I get that reaction a lot, so I'm not discouraged.  I'm not there for the fame anyway, just using another means to share what I come up with.  The production looks better in some than others, but that's how it rolls.  I've done several videos so far, and I'm a little over halfway through, though I've only YouTubed my first videos.  I'll post the links here for anyone interested (if such a thing exists).
