Whew

Whew! What a week this has been!  I don't know if I have anything much to say, because this week has been full of running around different directions, and I haven't had much time to think about my usual meandering thoughts. There has been a bug going on around the family, and so I've had to keep things going a little more than normal. I had it myself, but since it didn't hit me as hard as others, I've been the one running to and fro.

It's been a good several weeks of reminding me about the wonderful things of being healthy. I've had a recovering ear for a while after I unthinkingly held my breath wrong so as to traumatize it when I dunked my head in the water a little too aggressively. I can't express enough how grateful I was after that when my hearing returned. I actually nearly cried when I realized things were basically back to normal.

Even though I haven't had a lot of time this week, it appears my thought of the week is how grateful I am when I'm healthy. There were some office ladies I loved to talk to daily when I was going to college, and I remember one time pointing out to them after getting sick with something how grateful I was just to be able to breathe (it was a bad cold that time). I feel similar now. I'm grateful I can hear. I'm grateful my body is functioning as well as it is. I'm grateful I've had the strength to make it through this week after having to do extra, even at a time when I wasn't feeling as well.  It's not over yet, but thankfully the end is in sight.

Health is a blessing. Don't take it for granted.

Have a beautiful night/day/week/life.

Pea sized hail seems to be the perfect fit for the week.
