I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post lately, because things have been super busy around here. One of the family members who helps me with taking care of my brother is off on vacation, and even though it's only a few more turns, doing those extra turns of double duty between my two can get exhausting, and has been exhausting so far. I'm earning that trip next month exceedingly well. Yes, it's next month! I knew it would come quickly. It always does.
I've always made commentary on my travelling experiences, and each one seems to have its unique story. This time I've been wanting to bring my good camera with me, because even though I'm still quite an amateur with photography, I want to have it with me for at least a few good photos. At this point, I'm not sure how much of the things I'm taking with me I'll use, because I really don't like using devices all the time. I like being in the moment when I'm visiting somewhere and find any type of device rather distracting, particularly while I'm dealing with people. I know some device usage is required on this particular visit, but I think I've mastered some secrets to not only expanding phone battery time, but also limiting usage, at least in my situation anyway. I may have to share if it works well while I'm there.
This will be a short post this time. I have a lot of things to take care of these days, but I received a reminder the other day from something I wrote years ago how much of a blessing it is to have this opportunity to take care of my family. It's hard at times, but at the same time a wonderful experience to have. There are so many things I've learned over the years by doing this that in many ways couldn't be taught as well anywhere else, and I'm thankful for it.
