On Sunday I was the only soprano to show up for choir practice. After it was all over, one of the ladies came up to me and complimented me on "holding my own" during practice. LOL! If only she knew how nervous I was about being the only one singing my part!! Then she brought up the performance we did together for a show at our church and how I belted out the music. "She can really belt when she's up to it!" I've heard her say that to people before.
I was talking to a coworker about the progression of my story. She mentioned briefly that because I've continued my writing efforts she wants to start doing her watercolor painting again. I've only seen a few pictures that she's painted, but those were beautiful. I hope she does it.
It's fascinating to see how much influence a person can be on others just by doing.
