Final Day

It was the last day and the last morning.  Most of the day was spent roaming around the parks one final time, but not without taking advantage of one last opportunity to meet Mary Poppins and Bert, and grab a few last minute photos.  I was still a little sensitive from the night before, and to be honest that impression lingered on me for a long time and it still resurfaces once in a while when I think about it.

This visit definitely had a different effect on me than the last one did, and I knew it would.  You can only have a first time once, but the second time had it's share of wonderful memories.  It was almost a possibility that I wouldn't be able to come, but it was a good thing for me that I did.  It gave me a chance to be out with people again, which I hadn't had to chance to do since I started staying at home to assist in the needs there.  My sister had to take care of things while I was gone and she told me she didn't know how I did it, taking care of multiple people at once.  They were all happy to see me back, and that's a wonderful thing to come back to.

This poem was written in sentiment to my first visit, but I'm quite sure since I encountered and met more people this time that it still applies.  Because of the impressions on this particular trip, I may end up writing another one, but for now, this is the Disney inspired poem I wrote from last time posted on my poetry blog: https://rwwriting.blogspot.com/2018/09/the-moment-we-met.html

A big thank you to everyone there for the good memories and being good to me!
