Dear Family,
Waking up this morning, I felt like there are some of you out there who are really struggling right now. You've been sent through emotional whiplash and your world has been turned upside down by all of the sudden changes that have been thrown at you in the past few weeks. You've been put in a vulnerable position and may have even been forced into coming face to face with your weaknesses. Because of that, you're finding yourself getting lost in deep and dark places. First of all, I want you to understand that human weakness never was synonymous with your worth. Even this smallest golden nugget buried in the sand measures up to something. Don't underestimate who you are. I don't know or understand all you've been through or the depth of darkness you may be stuck in, but it doesn't matter. You have something of worth to us and everyone you know. You are not alone. It may feel like the world is pressing on you on all sides, but there is someone who cares about you, whether you know it or not.The road many of us are travelling, me included, is currently a muddy one, and there will be places where we will sink in to our ankles or deeper. Don't be afraid to leave the boots behind if necessary. I hope you understand what I'm saying there. There is hope for everyone, and the light will slowly grow in that darkness as long as you keep trying. Something good will come out of this. Keep your head up. Things will work out in due time.
Remember, you are loved.
P.S. Consider yourself family.
