Finalized with a Little Magic

This morning began with a nice sunrise. We were starting the day off right. It was our last day, so we had to pick up the pieces where we could of the things we hadn't done yet. We tried to go to on the Red Car Trolley, but because the second trolley was having issues, we were limited to going up to the Carthay Circle stop. From there, we wandered over to get on to Soarin', which still had a semi-decent line wait. I didn't know what Peeps would think of it, since she can have height issues, but she was so amazed. I think that became her favorite ride in the park. She couldn't stop talking about it.

Morning Sunrise.

After taking some photos at the waterfall, we walked the rest of the way to the Animation Building where we stayed and watched the screens for a while, and then I took Peeps into the Sorcerer's Workshop so I could show her the fun little animations there. I also had to go into the Beast's Library one more time, and there were people in there already. On my last visit, I was there alone to enjoy it undisturbed for several minutes; That felt more like a goodbye than this did. The very people who disturbed my silence back then happened to be a group of imagineers, so I had an idea my little one-on-one with the room might be among my last. I loved that little corner, but for some reason I tend to enjoy the places that are underappreciated and thus end up getting changed.

We seriously considered doing the meet and greet with Elsa and Anna there, but according to the time the CM estimated, the line was too long for us to make it to where we wanted to go next, which was a performance. I really wanted to go watch Viva Navidad, which I hadn't seen before, so we dropped out of the line and went to watch it. After, we went a little bit further to watch Mickey's Happy Holidays, which ended up being a little calvacade. Though everyone was calling it a parade, in my mind it was too small to be considered that, but even calvacades can be fun.

Instead of taking our break by going back to the hotel, we went on a little shopping excursion to World of Disney. Goodness, that place is a bit too big and overwhelming for me, but I knew that what we were looking for would be there, so we went on in and found some things to get for our trip. I really wanted something for the Disney 100, so I found an ornament of Steamboat Willie, and got a token keychain. Peeps didn't know what we'd do with them when we went back into the park, but I presented the awesomeness of my small bag, and was able to pack every single item in there. She was amazed! Now she knows why I like using it in place of a purse.

We entered into Disneyland and I took her through the Sleeping Beauty walk-through since we overlooked it the day before, but we spent most of our first hours in Tomorrowland, which was the only place we hadn't visited yet. We wandered around until the parade was over to get over there, and the crowd was so packed that I was starting to get some anxiety, so I was all too happy when Peeps said to slip in to the Star Tours line since it wasn't really long yet. She'd had bad memories of that ride, but coming off it it, she said this time was a lot better than what she remembered experiencing before. We got in line for the Monorail in time for sunset, and went into the Finding Nemo line after it got dark. That was a little bit of an adventure. We were told to wait while they were adjusting the lines, and right in the middle of it, a little boy upchucked all over the ground in front of him, and all over his family. That definitely require some line adjustments, so we had to wait a little bit longer while the CMs rerouted everyone around the area. That was certainly an adventure. But we got into the sub like the sardines we were, and made it through the ride in one piece.

Matterhorn at Sunset.

Our time was winding down, and as we went to see the Small World lights one more time, we decided to give our last moments to the Disneyland train. When we got on and rode through those fun lights, Peeps got the bright idea to stay on the train and record it one more time, with the hopes I would capture the Matterhorn in the distance. We stayed on, and just before it was to go through those lights again, something went wrong with the train, and we got stalled for a while. That meant a lot of people were leaving the train, so we took advantage and got the front row seats so we could get a good view while we were passing. In good time, it started up again, and we went through the lights as we wanted, but there was an unknown surprise waiting for us! The parade was going on, and the train had to wait a few minutes until they got a signal that it was ok to pass the crossing area. While we passed, there were some Elves and Jessie from the parade there to wave to us. That was so fun!

Small World Holiday and Grounds.

That was an awesome note to end our day on.

We had to leave early that night so we could pack up and be ready to go super early in the morning for our flight back home, in time for Thanksgiving Dinner!
